Massachusetts: Here’s How You Can Play Golf In Fenway Park
Forget hitting baseballs inside Fenway Park. This November, golf balls will be flying through the air. The Boston Red Sox announced yesterday that the “Fenway Swing” golf experience will take place from November 1 -5.
This is an immersive golf experience produced by REVELXP fan experiences. “Players will have the chance to hit golf balls at on-field targets staged at various distances,” the Red Sox say.
But Hit From Where?
Bays will be set up over the bleacher section inside Fenway Park. In addition, there will be various targets within the stadium. Players then hit a golf ball off the tee within the bay and aim at the targets. Each golf shot is then traced and scored via TrackMan technology.
Ticket Information
It is suggested to reserve tee times in advance. They will be available in one-hour increments. Each bay can accommodate six players. Furthermore, golf clubs will be provided as players are not allowed to bring their own clubs inside Fenway Park. Tickets will go on sale starting this Friday, September 15.
There will be two ticket options available to purchase for “Fenway Swing” golf this year. A general admission ticket will cost $85. Each bay must be booked in its entirety. Next, VIP packages will also be offered. This option will include a $25 credit to put towards food and beverage. You will also receive a gift bag featuring exclusive event merchandise.
“The game is family-friendly and designed to be enjoyed by all skill levels,” the Red Sox state.
The remaining schedule at Fenway Park for this fall includes a Red Sox series vs. the Yankees, White Sox, and Rays. Their home series wraps up on September 27 vs. Tampa before the team finishes the season in Baltimore. Prior to the “Fenway Swing” golf event, the Fenway Chef series will take place on Friday, September 29.
