Cambridge Cookie Company Offering Break Up Cookies For Valentines Day

If you are not in the mood to celebrate the love this year, then this Cambridge cookie company offering “break up” cookies for Valentine’s Day. It’s not about hearts and all the feels for everyone, and especially for folks that are over their relationship. Now you won’t need to make that break up call or even ghost them, you can send a message through delicious cookies.

Imagine the surprise on their face when they hear the knock on the door with what they think is a nice bouquet of flowers or a box of chocolates. Is it cruel? Probably, but at least you are letting them down gently with the gift of fine baked cookies. Beats an angry text or email.

Who knows, they might come to appreciate your style over time.

Break up cookies say it for you!

Normally, there isn’t much overlap between wanting to send a significant other cookies and wanting to break up with them.  But if you do fit into that category, you have an option.

Insomnia Cookies is offering a limited edition new 12-pack of cookies on their website called the “It’s Not Me, It’s You” pack.

You can choose the 12 cookies you want to give your soon-to-be ex, and they’ll include a “handwritten” break-up note on the inside of the box.

They won’t let you say anything too spicy.  There are four options:  “It’s not me, it’s you”…”You’re sweet, but not my flavor”…”I have the hots for your roommate” and “We’re done. Have a nice life.”

Insomnia Cookies is having fun with this

Insomnia said in a press release that this is a “very unserious way of ending things, since warm cookies [are] better than a cold heart.”  The packs start at $30.

Sure, they might think this is a very unserious way of breaking up, but if you’re on the receiving end of one of these break up cookie packs, you might think it’s very serious. Just grab a glass of cool milk to dunk the cookies in, and hopefully you will be able to get over it. Cookies are good for that.

According to Taste of Home, it’s wise to plan and secure a reservation five to six weeks in advance. Mark it on your calendar to avoid any slip-ups. If you realize you forgot, try calling around to see if any restaurants have last-minute openings, or opt for a cozy romantic dinner at home.

    Surprises are great, but when you gift your partner chocolate and roses and they surprise you with a trip to Hawaii or a new car, it can be a bit awkward. Maybe agree on a small budget, like under $20, or consider pooling funds for a more extravagant joint experience.
