School has been out for a while now, and your kids are probably looking for fun things to do from home with all their extra free time! If you’re looking for affordable ways to keep your little ones occupied this summer… that’s what we’re here for! We’ve put together a list of cheap, fun, and creative activities that can be done both indoors and outdoors this summer. Check it out below!

• Make a Lemonade Stand

  This is a classic summer activity that kids of most ages can enjoy! Put together a DIY stand with a fun sign, menu, table accessories, and of course some lemonade and you're good to go.

• Create a Scavenger Hunt

  What kid doesn't love a scavenger hunt?! Put together some clever clues for your kids and their friends, and they'll be kept busy for hours. This is perfect for any kid who's craving a little bit of adventure.

• Go Fishing

  Fishing is the perfect summer activity... and it's free! Teach your children the proper techniques and a find a place near you to get going. A local pond could be a great place to learn for young kids.
• Camp in the Backyard

  Who needs to go to a campsite when you can do it right in your backyard?! Pitch a tent in your yard, get some snacks, and enjoy the night under the stars. This is an experience your kids will always remember.
