Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood’s Wish for Rosalynn Carter

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have been longtime friends of former President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn. The couple joins the Carters each year to build Habitat for Humanity homes. Garth and Trisha celebrated the former First Lady’s 95th birthday on Thursday (8/18) to wish her a great day.

Trisha said in the video with her husband, “We just want to say happy birthday. We hope you have the day you deserve.” Garth joked, “Amen, how’s the plus one doing? That’s what they call me. We love you.”

Brooks captioned the video, “Happy Birthday, Miss Rosalynn! You’re my second favorite Georgia Peach:) love, g #MrsCarterMakingHistory @habitatforhumanity.”
