Tim McGraw Is ‘Proud’ of His ‘Cowgirl’ Faith Hill
Faith Hill received the Patsy Montana Award this week at the National Cowgirls’ Hall of Fame and Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. Her husband, Tim McGraw, was happy to brag about her latest honor.
Tim reposted Faith’s Instagram post about the event, writing, “Proud of my cowgirl!”
Many fans reacted to his post. One wrote, “Doesn’t get much cooler than that.” Another fan commented, “Congratulations, Faith Hill, pretty cool.” One more fan referred to one of McGraw’s chart-topping songs, writing, “You mean your Shotgun Rider.”
Hill wrote in her post, “Thank you to the Cowgirl Museum for a wonderful event today. I’m honored to be a part of the Cowgirl Hall of Fame!” many responded to her post, including her daughter Audrey who wrote, “Yesssss.”
The National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame and the Fort Worth Film Commission feature an exhibit called “1883: The Journey West.” Faith and Tim, of course, co-starred in 1883. The exhibition includes props, costumes, and photography from the record-breaking Paramount+ series.
Associate Executive Director of the Museum, Dr. Diana Vela said in a press release, “This exhibition has been unbelievably popular. Many visitors who live locally are visiting the Museum for the first time. Not only can they see a behind-the-scenes look at the making of 1883, the Paramount + series, but they can also experience our one-of-a-kind exhibitions that reflect western history, pioneers, and trailblazers. Since the exhibition’s opening, the Museum has experienced over a 200% percent increase in visitors over the same time period in previous years. They are coming to see ‘1883: The Journey West.'”
Filming for 1883 took place in Fort Worth and surrounding areas from July to October of 2021. The show employed hundreds of local production crew and extras, used local businesses, and heavily featured locations like the Fort Worth Stockyards.
