Garth Brooks Announces ‘Limited Series’ Box Set
Garth Brooks revealed plans to release new music this fall, sharing the news that a new boxed set will be available later this year and confirming it’ll include a new studio album he’s been working on.
Brooks is teaming up with the folks at Bass Pro Shops, who will be the only retail outlet fans can purchase his latest Limited Series box set. Available for pre-order soon, the seven-disc set is the third package in Garth’s career.
Brooks said in his Studio G on Monday (8/7)), “The first Limited Series came out in the late ’90s. And what it was, was a chance for everyone to get all the music at a really cool low price. Everyone gets to ‘catch up,’ which I thought was cool. We did the same thing in the second Limited Series,” noting the 2005 release that continued to chronicle his music.
He added, “Now the third – and I’m going to tell you right now, I guarantee that that’ll be the last Limited Series that we’ll do.”
Garth’s new Limited Series set will include his most recent albums, music released since his return to touring several years ago. He said, “It’s got FUN, Gunslinger, Man Against Machine, the new album, and Triple Live.”
Brooks then insisted, “This is the last one. It’s pretty cool.”
The superstar is slated to headline the inaugural Sugar Bowl Country Kickoff, a music and entertainment event presented by the Louisiana Office of Tourism to celebrate the start of the 2023 college football season, with a concert performance at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on September 2.
Garth said, “The start of college football gets everybody kind of fired up. It’s the fall. My favorite season, the best time of the year for me. It’s also a time when everybody’s got a perfect record, you know?! Everyone still has the dreams and the hopes that this is going to be their season. I love that!”
