Halloween Spirit Is In The Air At Dunkin’ With A Spider Donut And Inflatable
Starting Wednesday, October 11 our Dunkin’ is going to get seriously pumpkin! Actually, it’s more like it’s going to get seriously arachnid. Get ready America, because the Halloween spirit is in the air at Dunkin’ with a spider donut and inflatable! Wait, what? An inflatable? It’s true Dunkin’ is expanding it’s merchandise by adding in a spider donut inflatable for your yard!
Dunkin’s spooky menu that hits stores October 11 will include a spider donut, and chocolate, vanilla and strawberry frosted donuts with chocolate and orange sprinkles, according to NBC Boston. Hey, if you are a Dunkin’ Rewards member, you are also eligible for some new limited-time offers that are good through the end of October. The Halloween themed donuts are always a bit hit. As we well know, October is not the month to cut back on sugar in your diet.
What about the inflatable?
Ok, here’s the deal with the new Dunkin’ inflatable spider donut. It looks like the donut you buy at the popular coffee chain store, but it’s for your lawn. It’s the first venture into the inflatable world for Dunkin’. Picture a 6 foot tall spider donut that lights up right there in your front yard to celebrate Halloween. You will surely be “that house” in the neighborhood that has people taking second looks, and maybe a photo. Dunkin’ says this new decoration is specifically designed for “porches, laws, front stoops or even living rooms of donut lovers.”

4. How many beans?
According to Dunkin’, over 2,000 beans go into making 1 pound of their coffee. They even have “expert” taste testers that sample up to 200 cups a day to ensure the quality of the coffee. Imagine the engery in that office!

8. Why did Dunkin' drop the "Donuts"
According to workstream.com, back in September of 2018, “Dunkin’ told the world that they want to be on a “first-name basis” with their customers and removed ‘Donuts’ from their brand name.” Apparently by dropping the “donuts” they expanded their demographics, aiming to bring in younger customers by giving them what they really wanted…more caffeine! It worked. Now, roughly 60 percent of their sales are from coffee and coffee-related beverages.

10. Still the same Coffee
This is a fun fact, apparently all Dunkin’ franchises use the same original coffee blend that Rosenburg created back at his original location in Quincy, according to The Fact Site.
